We represent talent in three separate books:

Buckland and Gun Management represent professional actors defined as such by being trained, experienced and with existing credits in professional work. They are career actors.

AAA Talent Agency represent actors located in South Australia comprising those that are either developing their careers or skills with training and experience or those that are currently pursuing alternative full time careers and are not in a position to commit to the demands of full-time acting work.

BG Extras represent actors in South Australia who have little or no training but are happy to be background extras in film and TV. They will have attended an information session in order to be accepted on the books.

Carina and Nick first met when they were cast together in a stage play as George and Mildred. Carina had been working as a teacher and running her own business working with children developing coordination skills through 'Educational Gymnastics' and  'Dramatic Movement'. Nick had newly arrived from England where he had been working in banking and the hospitality industry. Both had now reached a point in their lives where they wished to immerse themselves in their love for acting and it was soon after they met that the opportunity to take over Adelaide Artists Agency was presented to them. Naturally, they seized the opportunity enthusiastically.
As both Nick and Carina were now established professional actors, and as each of them had acquired specific additional skills in coaching and business administration, they were well suited to the role of agents.
Their ethos is simple; always provide clients with solutions rather than problems and remember that the most important attributes of an actor are empathy, commitment and professionalism, the very same values that they bring to the agency alongside their team members.

I first discovered a love for acting at a 12-year-old boy and have always regretted not having followed my passion as a career when leaving school, being drawn into a life in commerce instead. And so, it was with a degree of surprise and heaps of delight that I found myself in Australia working in the film and television industry in 2009. My transition from actor to agent was both obvious and logical and I am now thrilled to discover talent and opportunities and marry the two together whenever I can. I love my work and the people I work with - how lucky am I!

From the age of four, I dreamed of being a teacher and an actor and now, I feel that my dream has come true as I am fortunate to be able to work in front of the camera and on stage, working as a professional actor, and have been teaching for over 40 years. I am passionate to help people reach their potential, follow their dreams and feel good about themselves. My love of acting has always been entrenched in everything that I do. I am now working with our amazing team who are dedicated to maximising the potential of the actors we represent. How lucky am I? (Dip T, Grad Dip Counselling)

Becoming an agent has been a natural progression for me; I have always been an advocate for the arts and for artists. I love the magic art brings to ordinary life. As an actor myself, I am thrilled to be in a position to connect creatives, daily. My goals going forward are to collaborate with our actors on progressing their careers and I enjoy getting to know the people we represent. There is no cookie cutter solution to continue to grow, learn, and use my knowledge (gained over 25+ glorious years in the industry) to best represent our talent; our family.

Favourite film: Sister Act

Favourite actor: Emma Thompson

Dream role: Live Action She-Ra

Lauren 10 x 8.jpg

My name is Lauren Marshall and I am originally from Glasgow, Scotland. After moving to London when I was 18 years old to attend drama school, I then continued to live and work in London as a professional actor for over 10 years. In January of 2022 I relocated to Australia and made the decision to pursue a career as a talent agent, as this has been something that has always interested me. Being able to work in an industry that I am passionate about is a blessing and I am thrilled to have recently joined the Buckland and Gun team!

Favourite film: Legally Blonde

Favourite actor: Olivia Colman

After working in non-creative industries all my working life, I realised how damaging it was to my mental health. When I signed on with AAA Talent as an actor, I loved the happiness it brought me to just be around like-minded creatives. Thus began my journey of dropping hints here, there and everywhere and to Buckland and Gun  hiring me to be part of the team working as an Administrator / Bookkeeper. So, here I am, loving every second of it! I love hearing about the opportunities our talent have and the collective excitement in the office when talent book a role.

Favourite film: A Time to Kill & The Mummy

Favourite actor: Sandra Bullock

Dream role: Jasmine (Deltora Quest)
