Emily O’Mahoney began her acting career in 2020, and since she has performed in theatre roles including Alina in Little Girls Alone in the Woods (Canberra Youth Theatre, 2021), Antigone in The Burial at Thebes (Merici College, 2022), Tilly in the premiere production of You Can’t Tell Anyone (Canberra Youth Theatre, 2023), and most recently as Burgundy and Reignier in Rockspeare: Henry VI Pt 1 as part of Mill Theatre’s Rockspeare series (2023). In 2023, Emily performed a devised piece of experimental theatre, Sympathetic Resonance at the Uncharted Territory Festival as part of the 2023 Emerge Company. Working with Sunspot Cinematic, Emily recently wrote and featured in a short film, Halo, which was a finalist in the Canberra Short Film Festival. Emily’s screen work also includes Renee in webseries Diary of an Unknown Actress (2022).
